Before starting my studies in marine science, I embarked on a career focused on marine conservation. I realised that the challenges facing our oceans were immense, and it was time to take a more proactive approach.

Our organisation is a global movement dedicated to raising awareness about the critical issues facing our oceans and empowering individuals and communities to take action. We believe that change starts with education, so we work tirelessly to educate people about the importance of oceans, their role in regulating our climate, and the threats they face due to pollution, overfishing, and climate change.

Through our initiatives, we strive to promote sustainable practices, reduce plastic pollution, and support conservation efforts worldwide. I'm Georgia, a proud team member at The Oceans Need Us. Currently knee-deep in my marine science degree, my love affair with the ocean is rooted in its role as home to some of our planet's most incredible and unique creatures.

I'm not just passionate about the marine life we see today; I'm also fascinated by the ocean's historical inhabitants. Studying past and present organisms that call our oceans home is my jam.
